Advanced Membrane Research Lab

Current research emphasizes in the development and practical applications of advanced organic, inorganic, and nano-enabled polymeric membranes for water treatment, wastewater reclamation and desalination applications. Different fabrication techniques are used to develop membranes for microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse/forward osmosis, and membrane distillation.

 

Major equipment comprises of Electrospinner, Contact Angle Analyzer, Hollow-fiber and Flat sheet membrane fabricator, Membrane Distillation set up.
